Holy Crapshoot

Sometimes I like to kick it with the Dome of the Rock.
I pulled the total tourist thing and peeked in the window.
Yes, I saw the rock.

Rock, Rockin' the Bible

You all probably think it cannot be done, but I am here to show you all it is possible to sum up two months of bygone Israelite adventures with a handful of words and pictures. Let the marveling commence.

G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S
Please note the fanny pack, ever-present headset,
unattractive outfit, and
then just imagine the Chaco sandals.
Welcome to my life.

There is rarely a site too holy or too ancient for us to make into an ANTM- Israel photo shoot.
Exhibit A: Sidonian family tombs circa 2nd century B.C.

We went to the Jerusalem zoo. I made a friend.

A personal favorite: tunnels. Hezekiah did it right and added water to his.
Yeah, that's a water line, not just two tone jeans.
Oh yeah, if you like this picture just wait until you see the video I took. Blair. Witch. Israel.

West Bank, Shmest Bank. When I went I could not for the life of me figure out what all the fuss was about.
Daniel who? Check out that sling-action.
(No one needs to know the rock I threw actually went backwards)

Hi, my name is Kira and I'm actually an 8 year old little boy.
Turns out I'm happiest when freestyle spelunking, and getting filthy and smelly in the process.

Don't worry, I take things seriously and go to serious places too. The Garden Tomb in is just a teensy
walk from the JC. The Holy Land is unbelievable.

From Jordan with Love

BOO!
Although devoid of any Halloween festivities, I've found the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has many other enjoyable aspects:

"Why, yes King Abdullah. I would love to ride around with you on your sidecar motorcycle once your important United Nations meeting is over. By the way, you look smashing in that chic pinstripe suit. "

Meet Mr. Gazim, your friendly neighborhood secu
rity guard/taxi whistler at-er.
He graciously bestowed a sloppy/mustache kiss upon my cheek.
Jealous?

Whaaat? F21? In Amman?

The dollar might be weaker than ever, but you can still get a delicious falafel for .35 dinar!
Rick Reil should really consider making a third office at the Amman Citadel ruins.

Do not forget the Holy Land's favorite things: rocks , dirt and old things!
Petra, I must say, had the snazziest combination of those I have yet seen. Good form Petra.
